Thoughts and Observations at Year End

Looking back over the year and my progression from Point n Shoot cameras
into the DSLR world and re-activating my Passion for the MACRO world has
been a roller coaster ride of epic proportions for me. It has also had
me delving deeper into IMAGE Refinement in search of the SALON QUALITY
image for the WEB and PRINT. Adobe Photoshop CS2 and Photoshop Elements
3 are my basic refinement and manipulation tools for my Photos (Image
Captures) but I also use Corel Painter 8 and Studio Artist 3.0.4 for my
creations from my MIND'S EYE using the photo's for the base. Also the
CAMERA has become my Visual Journal and Sketch Book of the world around
me and what I see and experience and you can do the same. At this time
in the world it is easy to always have a camera with you at all times.
This is wonderful as it releases the creative juices as you walk about
and now for the first time really start looking and seeing. You are now
able to capture that "Decisive Moment" as it occurs instead of lamenting
"I wish I had a Camera!". We are now seeing many wondrous, funny,
challenging, depressing, uplifting, etc images that in the past that
would have only been fleeting memories.
Now make sure that you always have that camera with extra batteries and
cards with you as you go about your daily business. Have a wonderful and
enjoyable and prosperous New Year.
